The regional round welcomed 41 groups present their green economy projects, and pitch to a set of judges across the three provinces. These projects were presented across green economy sectors (agriculture, energy, waste and water) with a focus on a resilient, green transition that will benefit communities.

A thank you is expressed to the judging panel for their valuable contributions to the regional judging round. The respective judging panels were made up of members from community groups, local government and municipalities and various interest groups.

This climate change initiative is co-funded by the European Union, implemented in partnership with the Friedrich  Naumann Foundation for Freedom, presented by GreenCape and supported by skills development partner WESSA.

The winners will be selected by an expert judging panel on the day of the conference. Their decision is final.
